Natalia slammed her open palm into an old locker. The loud clatter disturbing the bugs that roamed the hall. There was a loud scurry somewhere behind her.
"Great rats too!"
She said half assed.
She HATED this place. Her first day was getting her no where.
At first it seemed decent...well until...
flash back ...
Natalia stepped out of first period French laughing a t joke someone had told her.She flipped her red hair over her shoulder as she turned a sharp right. Head on collision.She looked up to face a blonde girl with a demeaning grimace.
"Ugh...a new freak..Stay the hell out of my way,loser!"
She then continued to spit on Natalia.
"Whore!"
Natalia shouted loudly. Catching everyones attention.
No one spoke to her like that.
The girl glared and Natalia glared back her light eyes darkening rapidly. It was obvious the blonde girl was intimidated but she wouldn't let on. A few of her friends joined her as Natalia stood up.
Natalia straightened herself out and scoffed at the girls all to scrawny to have eaten in the past month and too tan to have actually ever have been in the sun.
"Have to have your friends help you....slut!"
Natalia lunged forward slightly startling the girl. The girls fake blue eyes shot open. Natalia snorted and went to walk..
thats when it happened.
One of the girls cronies stuck her foot out sending Natalia face first into the trash can. The original girl snarled at her.
"Lower life forms should not speak to their superiors like that."
Natalia making a face at the stench laughed.
"Please I'm a better person that you could ever be...no matter how many nose jobs you get."
The girl kicked Natalia and walked off , leaving a laughing crowd of students laughing at the miserable girl in the trash can.
End
"I HATE THIS PLACE!"
She leaned against the old lockers and slid to the floor trying to keep tears from falling.
This place was hell on earth....

Lost in a bit of a daydream Rowen was about halfway down the hall on the way to her locker when a sudden yell nearly made her drop her books. She looked around to see where the voice had come from. She tilted her head and bit her bottom lip lightly in thought. Is that the girl I saw earlier today? She couldn't be too sure, but hair like that was hard to forget.
Oh yeah, she'd watched the little scene between the new girl and the ruling gem. It had taken a lot for Rowen not to accomplish a repeat performance of what got her kicked out of her old school. She didn't want trouble here, not when she had just gotten settled.
Taking care not to startle the other girl Rowen called down the hall, "Hey, what's up?" Sure it wasn't the best greeting, but it seemed better than what the girl had to deal with earlier today. While she waited for the other's reply she walked casually toward the red-head. If you could call it that, but I don't know the terms for anything above a two-tone.

Natalia flinched hearing a voice.
Did she just hear me screaming!? Ugh. Today cant get any worse...well maybe...
"Uh....Nothing..."
She said meekliy.
Natalia tucked a peice of her bright hair behind her ear hoping to distract herself from the vivid pink hue rising to her cheeks. Her hazel eyes scanned the hall way to the girl. She was a taller than Natalia with brown hair. She looked friendly enough.
Well a hell of a lot more friendly than Natalias last enounter with this schools teenage girl population.
Natalia slowly stood up making sure to keep her back to the lockers, still leaning on them for support. Her knees were weak and she wasnt sure if she could stand on her own.

It must be the same girl. She looks to nervous not to be. Rowen frowned she really really hated the girls that acted like they were better than others. She caught herself frowning and hoped that she hadn't given the girl the wrong impression. She adjusted her books to her side and gave a small wave.
"I uh, noticed that you're new around here. Don't worry about those girls from earlier. They're always like that, but they normally won't mess with someone like us more than once," she said with a wink. She couldn't help the small smirk that tugged at her lips when she thought of the smaller girl's temper. She let her earth hued eyes scan over the other girl briefly. The new girl would definitely stand out. Based on her observations the fiery-haired girl's temper could be described in two words...very short.

Natalia sighed.
"I'm not worried about them." She slid to the floor still against the old lockers.
She leaned her head onto her knees losing herself in thought for a few minutes
...
"OH!"
She looked up and sheepishly smiled.
"I'm sorry! Heh. I'm Natalia. Yep I'm new. You prolly saw the show earlier!"
She giggled and wiped some more of the trash off ehr jeans.
"Next time im going to critize her boob job...that had to have been worse than her nose job....."

Rowen nodded in agreement as the girl sat down. The smaller girl seemed to be thinking about something. Rowen bit her lip. Should I just go? She'd only just barely thought that when the girl, Natalina came out of her daze to introduce herself.
"Yeah, it was kinda hard to miss," she laughed. Natalina's next remark kind of threw her off for a moment. Things were definitely going to get a bit more interesting. "Well, when they come to get you next time if I'm around you won't be going it alone." She had no idea why she had said that. Rowen had thought that she had wanted to start fresh here and not get into trouble. Maybe this'll be more fun though.
