Rowen stuffed her hands in her pockets and lowered her head o block a gust of wind. It hadn't been nearly this windy in town, and she could only figure that a storm must be coming.
She wasn't sure when she had decided the previous afternoon to check this place out at night. Then she remembered. She had heard a few rumors at school, and she decided to look at it. It hadn't looked threatening in the day, and it still wasn't anything to worry about.
"Let's see what kind of ghosties we have in this place," she mused. She easily pulled herself over the fence and dropped to the ground with a soft rustling of the leaves. She stood and looked around. She walked unhurriedly to the tallest headstone around her.
Rowen pulled out her cell phone and switched on the light to read the stone. Nothing special. She took a glance at her phone and realized that she had forgotten to charge it. It only had one bar of battery left. She shut it and continued on her way.
